It hurt...but I'm really just glad that game has come and gone...and hopefully dissolved into the ether.

It was never really a game of expectation to me, only a "one eye open, one eye closed" look into how we talley up against them. And the outcome was what I truly expected...so now we can move on and continue our serge upward!!

GO BIG ORANGE!!

Pretty much knew they were going to beat us...Hate feeling that way but it is what it is...They are just a much better team than us right now...We'll have our time again soon, I have no doubt.

How can you NOT be upset at this team right now?!! They were NEVER in that game...not even a half a quarter!! Dooleys teams put up better fights than that..come on guys!! That was one of the worst games Ive ever seen from this team...EVER! They looked completely lost and played scared. No, we weren't going to win that game..but I thought theyd at least put up somewhat of a fight...totally disappointing.

Heck yes I'm upset with the loss. Not totally unexpected, but still hurts! Looking forward to better days ahead. Still believe we are heading in the right direction.... Finally!

...that is what being "out talented" looks like. They can line up and run over you or around you. They are a good football team. Not sure they can beat Oregon though.

You guys still don't grasp how important talent is to football games. Bama has more talent than anyone in the country, not only that but they are very experienced, confident, and were playing at home. Tennessee has middle rung talent in the SEC east. You are seeing a difference in talent and believing that what you see is actually lack of effort or heart or coaching. Wrong, wrong, and wronger. Our boys were exposed for what we are: a few recruiting cycles away from competing with the elite.

Relax, 3 of the next 4 games are very likely wins. Auburn in Neyland is going to be tough but it is winnable. Talent differences dictate that it is almost a guarantee that we go bowling. The only question is which bowl.

Go bowling, recruit, and hope that a full off season with much improved talent reveals Jones' historical ability in year 2 to win 2-3 games more than talent predicts.
