I certainly am. I'm wondering what UT has up their sleeve for a hire. Quite frankly anything less than what Arkansas has done is a major fail.

I'd say 90% of the CFB fan base is shocked by this. Never a whiff of a rumor for this guy...

It's all the rage on the sport sites. No-one even saw this coming. They're calling this a Homerun Hire.

No, not surprised at all. Makes me wonder why so many on here are so certain about who Tennessee is going to get. Arkansas faithful has struck out on every rumor their so called sources threw out.

He was on nobody's announced list, yet suddenly he is a "homerun hire". Not saying this guy is a bad coach or anything, but why was seemingly nobody after him? :dunno:

Because none of the rumor-mongers knew he was available. It is definitely a home run hire.

I don't know if it's a home run hire for Arkansas. All of his connections are in the midwest not the southeast. I don't see him being able to recruit the type of players it takes to win consistently in this league, at least not to the degree that he was able to win at Wisconsin. With that being said I do think it's a solid hire and if he is able to assemble a staff who better knows and can recruit this area it could end up working out well for them. I just don't know how he will fit at Arkansas. He is a good game time coach and "game manager" from what I know about him. That hire is up in the air for me.

Arkansas made a great hire. Wisconsin plays SEC type football in the BIG10. They smash people and run the ball as well as anyone. I wish we would have made a play for BB. If he was hired at the 3.2 reported, it was a steal IMO.

Who is to say that Hart may not pull the same kind of shenanigan on the CFB world as ARK AD??????????????? Is it because all these "inside sources" haven't been right?????????????

I felt like Hart was going to make a good hire. Today has got me questioning that. We offer to over pay for an unproven coach to the tune of 3.7 million a year. We then try to offer MORE to save the deal and he still turns us down. Let's just say I don't think this will end well.
