listening to Vol Calls right now. He sounds so much like Les Miles on the radio. Except for smelling like corn dogs and eating grass.................

If this were 100 years ago, Les would be the guy everyone called Colonel Miles, or simply, the Colonel. He'd be known as the man who strolled about town wearing a military sash, a medal or two, sometimes wearing a dented pot over his head, sometimes a captain's hat, sometimes just a stuffed parakeet on his shoulder, and who held court at least twice a week in the afternoon in the middle of the town square. And yes, the man in the old mansion in need of both upkeep and repair who only bothers having his lawn taken care of once a year (although his neighbors secretly keep up the grounds more regularly to prevent it from being an eyesore).

Yes, Butch sounds like Les Miles because they are both from Michigan. Actually, to be more precise, Miles was born in Elyria, Ohio and attended the University of Michigan, where he was offensive line coach from 1987-94 (Les Miles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ).

Butch Jones was born in Saugatuck, Michigan and attended Ferris State University.

I hope so. If he can go 85-20, win 3 division crowns, 2 SEC crowns, and one National Title over the next 8 years, I'll be tickled.

Humans can't digest grass...it didnt evolve until around 50 millions years ago. It didnt even exist when the dinosaurs were alive. It's hard to imagine a world with no grass...les would be devastated.

Did Les Miles write this? It sounds like him because it doesn't make sense

Les Miles allowed his QB and another player to return after they assaulted an American serviceman. Les Miles would sell his soul to win. If he hasn't already. He is without morals. I was laughing when Bama spanked their asses in the BCS NC Game. I mean, for God's sake, Majors kicked REGGIE COBB off of the team in 1990. Ray Mears kicked Bernard King off the UT basketball team. He was arguably the best player in the NCAA. Fulmer kicked numerous people off the team for violations. My God! Assault?

Having said that........Miles is a good x's and o's coach, and a great recruiter. Much like Saban. But, Les earned the nickname "The Madhatter", by gambling in situations, where Saban, and other SEC coaches, would not.
