Is CLK our best recruiter?

Everybody knows the prowess of Coach O. Monte is a football legend. Thompson is a powerhouse in GA and BAMA. But I think Lane Kiffin is our best recruiter.

Is there a football player or sports fan in the country who doesn't know who he is? The polarizing image that he is building will help him to become one of the premier coaches in Football.

First, he talked a whole lot of smack. Then he backed it up on the field. This year's success mixed with his reputation from USC are making recruits take notice.

Recruits are drawn to his "swagger" more than any other coach on our staff. As long as he is our HC, we will attract bigtime recruits so there is no need to worry when coaches come and go....even tremendous recruiters like Gran, Thompson or even Coach O.

By the time all those guys have moved on/up Lane Kiffin will have become a force to be reckoned with and will continue to surround himself with other elite coaches.

Have to go with Monte, because tell me how you would feel if an NFL legend walked into your living room to bring you to Tennessee. I can only imagine elation on my part. He is the man and the legend all in one. But all in all it doesn't really matter because they are all great recruiters that will bring the promised land back to Knoxville. Go Vols!!

I think that you are right my friend.With the most resent loss of coaches it only reminded me of how long it took to put this staff together.He will not take a coach just to fill a spot.Recruiting is not just for the prospects.

I think Lane connects on more of a personal level with these recruits than Monte...but...is there really a loser? It is like if Jessica Biel shows up on your front steps when you were waiting for Marisa Miller....While not what you were expecting, can you really complain?

Orgeron is arguably the best in the country...I'd put Lane and Thompson after him

I understand the other arguements but all these defensive studs are dying to play for Monte. So while he doesn't have the go gettem attitude of the others. His reputation out recruits all the rest!
