Is anyone else getting a ton of pop up, adware crap on every forum on VN? This is getting ridiculous Freak. For real. I realize this site is free, but this junk has to stop. My spyware is working over time.

Nope. In fact I've been meaning to thank Freak for fixing the problem from last month.

I haven't tried mobile in a while. This is on my laptop. The ad spam crap is beyond ridiculous. It's like a porn site. Ahem, from what people tell me.

Nope. It's the new format here. I've had it redirect to another website twice on 2 posts here in this thread alone. And this is the only page I have up. My ad'spyware protection has warned me of several of the popups from VN.

What antivirus and spyware are you running?

I wonder if you might actually be infected with something already.

The only annoying popup ad I've gotten is the one that slides across the bottom of my screen right into the center of the page. I'm using the laptop and not mobile.

when I hit ctrl + alt + delete I look at my processes I have running. My antivirus is called "trojan" I believe

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not your antivirus program.

you probably need to make sure your system is clean before blaming outside influences. Try Adaware or Malwarebytes and see what results you get. Also download another browser like Chrome or Firefox

I was having issues a couple months ago on my phone but it was fixed or just went away.

I'm not aware of any current issues. We had a few issues with the mobile site a few weeks ago, redirecting to the App Store, but those have all been resolved as far as I'm aware. I've not had any other complaints and I've not experienced anything personally.

Use Chrome or Firefox and run AdBlock if you're that worried about it.

Haven't been redirected since then, thank you. Seems to be a trend with mobile sites to redirect to the App Store.
