Is it just me?

Ok, so I don't watch as much CFB as many of you, and most years I don't watch many of the bowl games. However, this year I have caught many of the early bowl games. Is it just me, or do these teams look like crap? Is it just that the teams are bad, or something else?

I think, on average, when the bowl games get cranked up the teams that make it that far are usually on equal footing talent wise. A lot of times the difference maker is which team is happy to be there and which team thinks they deserved a better bowl.

I don't know, but the two games tonight and the Texas game last night have been total turnover festivals. It's madness, like 4 fumbles for Colt Brennan and back to back interceptions. It's making me feel a little better about our turnover margin and Arian Foster.

I agree. You just never know what is going to happen after 4 weeks off. Some teams respond well and some don't.

I can definately see that. It's just that neither team has looked good. And that is on a number of games. Yet, I'm still watching...:ermm:

That's why some people don't even really care about bowls that much.

I love watching them, but I don't use it as any sort of serious measuring stick for a team or conference.

That said, I still find all of them greatly entertaining, because I love college football. I am a firm believer that every team with a winning record should be in a bowl game, every year.

The fact that there is like a million bowl games may have something to do with it.

i'm with you Milo. bowl games as a measuring stick are useless, unless the teams have something to play for. many coaches use the extra month like spring ball and begin getting some yong guys ready for the next season.

I think I'm watching the worst game ever. UCF vs Miss St is just pathetic, I don't think I've ever seen so many incomplete passes.
