Who ever we get from these mid major coaches, they should be forced to keep our offensive staff intact and just be able to bring in a new defensive staff that way will have a better chance at winning enough games to make a bowl next year... regardless i think jay graham must be allowed to say as none of these coaches that have been listed have any reason to let him go and if they do i hope their is backlash, that would be pure stupidity on their part... especially since they themselves will have no ties to tennessee at all.

I agree, we need to keep as much of this offense as we can. I don't think a new coach can survive another learning curve like we saw with the 3-4 this year.

my sources are all the candidates that are left for us to choose from.... we need recruiting help and we need it bad...

Jay Graham is the only one that HAS to be kept. Have you all forgotten all last year and early this year when we thought Chaney was the worst OC ever?

yeah chaney might not be the best oc out there, but right now we need some stability on offense to have any chance to win with the new coach coming in especially since they will have a hard time recruiting for us.

If Bray, Hunter and CP are gone, I would like to see a new offense installed. I think it's time we catch up with the rest of the league and put our best players in space to make plays. Talking spread type offense.

I don't like the idea of telling a new head coach, "You have to keep_________on your staff." Even Jay Graham. As much as I want him to stay and think he is a quality coach, the idea that a new regime HAS to retain certain people....not good IMO.

well these coaches who are in the running to be hired by us have no tennessee ties what so ever so how are they gonna sell tennessee it's self to the recruits???

The biggest thing they need to not do is hire some derek dooley type, or any of these unproven guy's and give them million's a year from the start with a 5 million buyout like they did dooley. He got a raise after his first year, with a losing season??

Georgia, Alabama, LSU:= No Spread and perennially among the best teams and most NFL players in the country. Spread concepts aren't necessary if the players are taught to execute well.
