Is Kentucky gonna be a problem?

Jury still out, obviously, on this guy. I’m curious what his game is? Obviously, he can hit the three, but how does he excel from there? I don’t think it will affect Kentucky’s make up all that much because they’re already loaded. I also think once teams have a good idea of how to defend, that will help too.

3 blocks in 16 mins says he can at least do that outside of shooting.

I think when UK goes offensive set, they better have their head on a swivel when he has the ball in his hands.

Valid point, KY is a problem most of the time. UT defense is an issue for any team. I believe UT can beat them.

Is kentucky ever not a problem? Everyone in the sec is a problem. Look at our road game at miss state. I get the message board banter is fun and its good conversation to discuss, but I'd encourage you to not worry about individual personnel of specific teams until game week. I'd like to imagine the team isn't.

the UGA game was his first game hes been on campus all year but was not cleared till the day of tipoff for the game. here is some history on it.. there was a writeup on him in the power rankings on espn.. this is the article i could find with the least amount of spam and no paywall. He is more comparable to a bigger Chet Holmgren (inch taller 40 pounds heavier) than KD. Or better said KD after college once he ate some mashed potatoes and (Pruitt's Bane) asparagus.

Yes. They're gonna be extremely difficult to beat. I think we can beat them at home, but they will be allowed to gang tackle us in Rupp. It will be a very frustrating game as usual. This is the best team Cal has had in several years. I think they'll be in top 5 or 10 at the end of the season. They just look different than in recent years.

lol UKs football doesn’t even know how to gang tackle. However your point is well taken!

I have watched them four times and they do not have anybody that tries to play defense. Play loose and fast on offense. Will be interesting to see how they react to being defended. Could easily be Bama again and they turn them over half of the possessions in the first half. Seems the Dillingham kid is a wildcard. If he hits a couple threes he can just go off and has a couple of times. Then he completely disappears in the next game.

He's an excellent rim protector. A very good shooter for a 7-2 kid and a good passer. He runs the floor well and if you give him a lane, he can put the ball on the floor. He's kind of got some Chet Holmgren to him with less polish and greatly reduced guard skills.
