Foley is keeping CWM around for at least one more year. But let's get real. They have another stellar recruiting class coming in, and Foley can't get an upgrade at this time. If there was another Urban Meyer out there, he'd write the check and live with some recruiting losses that may occur.

It will be interesting see, though, if this is just delaying the inevitable. Let's see...Addazio, Weis, Pease made 3 OC's in the past 4 years. This will make 4 in 5. More importantly, CWM is on thin ice, and will have a hard time attracting a great OC (much like Dooley and Sunseri) with a real chance of another house cleaning only 1 year down the road. So there is a disctinct possibility of getting 5 OC's in 6 years.

Even with their recruiting, it is next to impossible to develop talent under that type of turnover. Just ask UT.

Yes I think the OC gets canned.

Problem with canning Pease is the same problem we faced in Dooley's lameduck year. What coach wants to come in and be one and done?

If Florida is not careful they could end up in the same shape we currently are. A revolving door of coaches is no good for the players or recruitng. It also makes it tough to hire good assistants who are looking for stability and do not want to move their families for one season.

If Muschamp makes it 1 more season I will be suprised. I'm just waiting to hear that he's been fired.

They have a top ranked QB coming in - but will Muschump start him as a true freshman ? Not much else as far as QBs go is there.

stellar recruiting class? we'll end up somewhere in the 15-20 range most likely

after dalvin cook and a few others decommit it could be worse

i honestly think if we hired james franklin the recruiting class would improve keeping muschamp doesnt do any favors for recruiting at all

Foley is miles ahead of the retired Mike Hamilton in ability. He knows a coaching change is catastrophic for a program so he is no where near pulling the trigger. Fl. has athletes but do they fit what he is trying to do? Sound familiar? Michigan is another example closely comparable to ut and their coach is also going no where.

What's the word down there? Do the fans really want Franklin?

From a ranking standpoint, it won't be as good as UT's, but out of 15 commits, you have 3 5* commits (at QB, RB, and WR). That ain't bad at all for a small class.

Joker Phillips is already on Muschamp's staff, and he has OC experience.
