Is Peterman Healthy?

That could almost be enough to ruin some young careers. But Peterman, who has been back at practice the last three weeks with a wrap on his injured thumb, has battled his way back to taking some second-team reps in practice recently. True freshman quarterback Joshua Dobbs is firmly entrenched as the starter for now.

To answer your question, I don't think Peterman is 100 % but he is pretty much all they have as back up at this point.

If Jones burned Ferguson's red shirt for this game, he should be fired and not allowed on the bus back to Knoxville tonight.

If Dobbs goes out let AJ run the wildcat the rest of the game, remember 2 years ago they beat us with a wide out that had not played QB in college so pay back time we beat them *****cats with a linebacker.:)

Wouldn't mind seeing Peterman again - I know he's got more game than we saw in his brief appearance.

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if Butch started Peterman. VolNation has been down on him based on one half of football against a defense that was very good at the beginning of the year. Out of our 4 QBs, Peterman has the best arm and was the mostly highly recruited. Not saying he's "the solution", but too many VN'ers are judging him prematurely.

There was alot of pressure on peterman in the uf game. Wouldn't be against putting peterman on the field again if Dobbs is having another rough day. As long as CBJ doesn't wait till the end to change it up again. Whoever gives us the best chance to win.

Who's he going to throw to? He couldn't complete a pass to a healthy North in the Fla. game.

Well Dobbs has already been announced as the starter so that would be a shock. If he is ineffective I would like to see Peterman.

I don't really care how it happens I just want a win.

Probably true. We forget they're young and working without a group of established receivers. I'm not ready to throw either QB out yet. Plus, we haven't even seen Fergusen in action.

He threw for 4 yards.... not turning a blind eye towards Dobbs, especially after that awful display he put on vs Vandy.... it was awful.

But Peterman played arguably the worst half of football I've ever seen a QB play. Ever.

Peterman was pathetic vs Fla and Dobbs was miserable vs Vandy.

He not going to get fired for that if he did but he not going to do that!!!! SMH

Play the kid from DB if Dobbs can't go. He was a great QB in high school and has done fine as a freshman DB
