I don't think so.

I think he meant the GAME was scheduled for next week.

IF both Tennessee and Florida win tonight, I think there is a good chance they will be there, but they aren't going to announce anything OFFICIAL until after this weeks' games.

We will know for sure Monday or Tuesday.

That may be the case, but it sounded like he said Corso would have his chance to pick his winner as scheduled in Knoxville next week. He kind of mubled it, but I listened to it twice on Tivo and it looked like he held up a pink piece of paper and said "well, you'll get your chance...." ... i dunno though

Yeah, I saw it and heard it too. Even replayed it myself, I just know that ESPN almost always waits to make sure that is the best possible matchup. No doubt, that if Tennessee or Florida loses today, there's not a chance they will be here next week.

I say 50/50. Auburn/LSU play next week and also Notre Dame/ Michigan. Gameday has already done a irish game, eliminate that game.
Its between UT/ FLORIDA or AU/LSU. I predict they will be at the auburn game

Kind've begs the question about which you'd rather see- Florida choke against a team like Central Florida this week, or Lee Corso's mug in Knoxville next......


Anybody actually having trouble with that one?

No, actually it will give him a chance to pick Vols as Nat Champs since we beat his preseason pick.

Corso has a weird-hat fetish- he'll never choose UT over Florida when the choice is between that big foam gator head and a greasy baseball call from Bubba's Bait & Barbeque.

I dont believe Gameday will come to Knoxville, since the game is on CBS. I hope they do come, but if any other good games are going to be televised on ESPN, Gameday will go there...

You realize Gameday went to the UT-Florida game like 6 times in the last 10 years, and the games have always been on CBS.

I beleive they will be in Knoxville next saturday, but AU LSU, and USC NEB will be big too.

Not like I enjoy defending Corso, but his actual quote was that Cal could lose to Tennessee in the opener and still go on to win out and win the national championship.

He is still in D-NILE proof is what he said on game day today ( The call. offence scored 18 points on Tenn. and did a good job.) HE WAS CORRECTED BY KIRK SAYING ( IT WAS AGINST TENN. SUBS.). I saw the all star game South West Va vs East Tennesee in 1964 Spurrer was qb for ET. SW. WON wish they still had the game.

i swear i heard fowler say corso will get his chance in front of the big orange nation next week, cuz he followed it up w/ a teaser for texas saying, "the burnt orange nation".... note, he wasn't seriously calling them by that name, just using it as a segueway
