Is the Sweet 16 run over?

The Lady Vols have made the sweet 16 in every NCAA tournament played. The way they are playing, there is a real chance that they may not make it that far. I hope they do (and farther of course), but it's getting to late in the year to start "turning things around."

I know a lot will have to do with matchups/seedings, but what do you think about this run coming to an end?

the '97 team lost 10 games, so I wouldn't count them out...if they can get healthy, things may fall together.

As the old saying goes "all good things end sometime" and unfortunately I fear this is the year that string ends. The way this team is going I wouldn't be overly surprised to see them lose in the first round.

Stranger things have happened, but they're going to have to improve drastically to make it that far this year.

I fear the sweet sixteen run is over. This team has supposedly the most talent of any team we have had, but they were either rated wrong, or they just do not have the heart to compete.

I have held out until now with hope they would break out, but after the Duke and Kentucky games, there is no hint this group cares whether they win or lose.

Pat Summitt is more frustrated than she has ever been. She can teach them all she knows, but she cannot go on the court and do it for them. It is as if they are out to prove to her and everyone else that they will simply not do what she tells them.

I remember that very well, and you bring out an excellent point. Summitt has been here before. My biggest worry is the turnover problem this team has.

The Sweet 16 only means you've won 2 games. They probably won't hit a better team until they reach it. They still might lose before they make it, but I doubt it.

I wonder if Pat is rethinking the young ladies.
Why would u get a 5ft point guard in the first place?
Glory , needs to go as well others
Said to say I'm a Lady Vol fan
They will not win 20 games this year, of win a SEC title either
They will no Make the NCAA Dance either
Is there any way Pat can take away Scholarship?
Sad day and year for the Lady Vols, They can't take care of the ball, They can't seem to rebound, It's as if they really don't care anymore?? This has got to be worst team she has ever had. I say them in Texas, Sad, We got up and left.
I know u can't win every game all the time, but come on give a little heart as if u really wish to wear the Lady Vol colors. I think Pat might also wish to address some coaching issues as well. Make a few changes in the staff.

Dose she have any so called stars coming in next season?
Maybe Pat needs to change to way she coaches, maybe some of her style of play have passed the game by.
Would like to see more up type tempo, pressing more, takeing care of the ball.
Well hope I did not make any of u mad?
But That's the way i see it in a nut shell!!!!

Pick another team to root for. It's obvious you have no clue in what you are saying or even how to say it. If you left the Texas game early then your no fan of this team. It may be tough to watch sometimes, but I will support them all the way. No band wagon fans around me please.

I think they can Once they start playing neutral courts, unless they catch a giant early, then it's curtains.
