Is there a difference...

between 2012 UT and Georgia/Texas A&M besides coaching? Georgia and A&M's defenses are subpar, but they still seem to do well by virtue of their offense. We tried the same thing last year, and it failed miserably. Do you think coaching is the only factor in this, or is there something else that I'm missing?

I think Georgia/A&M both have a little more speed on defense that UT did last year, but they're better coached also. Sunseri had no clue about being a DC and he mismanaged the talent that he did have.

You seem to be missing quite a bit. Stability and support from administration. Talent. Consistent excellent, or at a minimum, above average quarterback play. Talent. Speed. Talent. A heisman trophy winner. Depth. Talent.

Don't take this as me being a negavol. Just pointing out what we have stacked against us since about 2006 or so, that's conservative, much of this began to slip several years before.
