Pitino, Pearl, Floyd, Drew, Hamilton, and there is prob more at this point, but hell, who knows how long this list will go for.

I've looked and looked after Hat mentioned Pearl not really being offered, and he's right. The only places where that was mentioned were in blogs and "rumor" sections of news outlets. Plus, both schools denied it. It clearly never happened.

I was in Memphis area over the weekend and it was actually kind of sad the newpeople dicscussing the Memphis coaching job vacancy. They gave the impression people were rejecting the job. I think going back they would have offered Cal more to stay.

There's no way they should have let Cal go. Saying that, Cal wanted to cement his legacy and win a championship at one of the most prestigious schools in basketball.

I don't think the UofM had much choice in the matter.
