Is there a NIL just for LadyVols?

this is small potatoes compared to men’s sports. It is great opportunity to get your daughter and granddaughter interaction with Lady Vols. Great way to light up a young, athletic little lady Vol and give some love to our favorite women’s sports program.
Exactly. I've said this before. The LVBHC events are great ways for some of the players to make extra pocket change and for fans to meet the players. My game buddy has met and had pretty good conversation with her fave twice.

But I don't think they can count on these monthly donations for much more than that. I hope there's an actual development director who works on the well heeled big donors for the main money needed to sign recruits.

Spyre, the main collective for UT covers all sports. It is also one of if not the biggest collective.ost NIL collectives use Spyre as their blueprint.

I think the problem may be coach Harper
Maybe the problem is an unrealistic fan base. Except for Tamari Key everyone is a Kellie recruit. IMO she is recruiting just fine. Talaysia Cooper is a MDA and 5-star recruit, Kaniya Boyd is a 5-star recruit, Jewell Spear led the ACC in scoring, Rickea Jackson is a superstar and will be a top 10 draft pick, Jasmine Powell has progressed nicely, and I believe Jillian Hollingshed was a MDA.

All of what you posted is accurate. But it's not just the fan base with possible unrealistic expectations.
I don't have the ESPN projections handy, but it seems to me that the LV's preseason rankings have been consistently higher than their end of year ranking. And this phenomenon existed during Holly's last few years as head coach as well.
In the last 10 years, how many times has their end of season ranking exceeded the preseason ranking ?

The problem is every player you mentioned will either be gone after this season or next, except Cooper and Boyd. Spotty hs recruiting with a couple of empty classes has left the future roster a mess both by class and position. They'll have to rely almost completely on the portal. They have done well there, but it's scary to have only that source.

The only fan expectation involved is we expect a roster in 25-26 that isn't 8 guards who are mostly jrs and srs.

Portal doesn't open until March. Hard to say what might be on the Horizon. New day and a new way to recruit what you need.

It’s not the fan base sorry and Rickea , Spears and Cooper where portal gets. Speaking of she has done better this year and Hollingshead has regressed. So everyone else on team who do you think starts on a top ten team 0. Kellie needs to understand she not at Missouri St you’ve got to recruit sec talent. Look at lsu, South Carolina, and all the top teams

Again, "portal gets" are recruits. The transfer portal has changed the game. That circumstance is a widely agreed upon fact.

I would bet a fair amount of $ that Kellie understands she is not at Missouri State (and all the related recruiting ramifications). She and staff have been going after blue chip prospects but not closing the deals to the extent needed (in terms of HS recruiting).

The portal has been their saving grace and this year's will be another vital recruiting period.

Jillian has hit a bad stretch, mostly on the offensive side. Hopefully, she gets it turned around (in the way Puckett seems to have done, going from tearful to high five plays).

This is narrow minded. You can’t judge players that way. There are players on Top 10 teams that wouldn’t start at Tennessee.
It’s about the system and how players play as a unit.
You simply are misguided if you think what you just posted. Tennessee had two players this summer to represent Team USA. Some players on Top 10 teams were cut. Tamari Key had to sit out a full season and is now looking like she did when she set records for block shots. Jasmine Powell came to Tennessee as a starter from the portal as a senior and right now she could play for and start for teams in the Top 10.
And last but not least, everybody isn’t a starter. You can go down many rosters Top 10 through Top 25 you wouldn’t find 5 for sure starters on any team.
Do better.

The HS recruiting alarmists need to rethink their position. Scrap everything you ever knew about recruiting and transfers. The only thing that seriously moves the needle now is NIL war chests and how you use them. You can invest hugely in a HS recruit with dodgy film and a high bust rate. They drain your NIL fund for a year or two while you pump even more time and resources into them. Then, after a year or two, maybe they become a good player, maybe they portal somewhere else (Justine!).

Or, you can invest in Portal players with 2-3 years left. You get their most productive years, they have more reliable film, and someone else has poured 2 years of developmental resources into them at the NCAA level. So you get a higher hit rate, spend less money on them overall, and you always have a team weighted toward veteran players.

Or, you can have a good balance of hs and portal recruiting like the most successful programs do. There are definitely great hs players out there that someone is going to get; look at this years freshman class nationwide. A freshman class btw that we have ZERO players in. If you have a balance btw portal and hs, it's never do or die on one or the other. Since we had no hs freshman class this yr and since our future roster is crazily out of balance by class and by position, it's do or die for us in the portal this spring. Not a healthy position IMO.

Sure, you don't just ignore HS, but we have to recognize how different it is now. You have to recruit and re-recruit all of your players at least 3 times every year.

Your recruiting can only be defined by the talent currently on your roster because of how quickly it can change these days.

Oh okay.. two future Top 10 prospects. 2025, 2026, and 2027 feels different.
These upcoming prospects and their families (which is one of the deciding factors) have interest as well as respect for the LVs historical program.

When Harper was speaking at the Knoxville Quarterback Club meeting, one fan jokingly compared her recruiting to Lane Kiffin because she uses the portal a lot per an article by Cora Hall in the News Sentinel on Thursday.

Question: I don't hear anything about the future and recruiting internationally. I know, if you can't recruit hs, why go overseas? Not in the budget?

We made an attempt to sign the post out of Portugal. A couple of trips overseas for Sam. One associated with the Italy trip. Wound up at UConn I believe.
