That this team is better with cam and hall playing next to zero minutes?

Also, for those that always talk about mcbee not seeing the floor, you've been wrong and continue to be. He understands the game and passing angles. Just doesn't have the athleticism to guard guys he has to guard, but cm asks him for a reason.

Good win.

Agree on McBee. When Cam is not hitting from the outside we need the threat to hit the 3 to keep defense off the bigs. McBee played well tonight along with Maymon. I keep hoping McRae will have a break out game and get going. He did have double figures tonight. Stokes just needs some gym time and PT to really be good.

Cameron is just plain awful and hall is to soft here should be the starting line up
1.Trae
2.Mcrae
3.Richardson
4.Stokes
5.Maymon

Thats a winning line up. Take tatum and hall out end of story.

A win - not a good win. Auburn by the way was awful. May have been one of the worst SEC teams I can recall ever seeing in person.

I will support McBee when he starts shooting consistantly on the road. Until then I would limit his minutes on the road. Still he brings more to this team than Tatum and I would rather see him out there. We sure do need some shooters.

he didnt even shoot good tonight, which he usually is good at home. our permiter players have got to hit the open 3's that our post guys kick to them or its just a freaking waste. i am all for tatum seeing as few minutes as possible.

12 points isn't good shooting? He went 2/5 from the three point line if I remember, not great, but certainly better than many. and he made quite a few good interior passes and dribble drive passes. Mcbee understands the game of basketball. if he had tatum's body he would be a 2nd team SEC or better type player.

so when kobe scores 25 points you consider it good shooting? even though he goes 8-27 from the field???

skylar was 3-9, 2-7 from 3 not good shooting. he had 4 free throws. you cant play the what if game, if lofton had scottys body hed be a nba all star. if dane had maymons body hed be in the league. the fact is he doesnt though. he is much like dane in the fact that he understands the game better than most, and hustles his tail off.

If one does go 2/5 from 3, people need to realize that's the same as going 60% from 2 pt fg's.

Good win.

Tatum 1 of 23 in the last 3 SEC games. I could shoot better than that. He had a good game against UConn but that's how he is, a break-out game every 5 or 6 games. As for McBee, he brings alot more to the team and should get more PT than Tatum. As for McBee's defense, he held Frankie Sullivan to 5 pts. on 2 for 12 shooting last night. Not too bad....

he fights through picks and gets up on guys that are quicker and better than him. He played some great D yesterday, but got caught once or twice on blow bys, so people that don't know much basketball start talking about how bad he is.
Players blow by players all the time. It's freaking basketball. Skylar's main issue in many situations is that he is checking for his pick coming and the guard drives by as he turns his head. He shouldn't turn his head so much. It's bad technique, but he can't trust Hall, Cam or Trae to tell him its coming, so maybe he has to. His other issue is giving up the lane where he has no help. He's in position, has a pick coming with high side help, but gives up the lane or baseline where the rotation won't be there quick enough. If he corrects the two things above, his blow bys will decrease, just as other players would.

Yes. Hall has played some good minutes and should continue to get time.

Only mop up or quick sub time. He's played 425 minutes this year. I'd say about 20 of them would be considered good.

Stokes coming in and himself and maymon playing major minutes at the 4 and 5 was the best thing to happen. No more Woolridge, not much hall and hopefully sooner than later not as much tatum.
