That Nevada kid who tried to commit to Cal?

I think what happened is that the kid was pulling a con job, trying to get other schools interested in him by fabricating interest from BCS schools, and it all got out of hand.

He's actually a legitimate prospect, but at the mid-major level or 1-AA.

The system is so screwed up now, I can't blame the kid if he did try to play it. Too bad it backfired.

That was the impression I got from the story. It got way out of hand ,now the kid will be lucky to play for some directional school. (If he doesn't face some kind of fraud charges. Big name schools don't like their name being used that way.)
