I'm not a history buff, but can someone tell me what other coaches had brought at least 70% of their previous assistants to their next coaching gig?

We shall see. I'll support whoever our coaches are. There is nothing I hate more than fairweather fans.

Why not bring in people you are familiar with, and are familiar with you, how you do things and want things done. As long as they are good coaches, I could care less.

I like the message I'm getting from the fact that his staff WANTS to follow him.

They must love working for him and he must be a good boss.

Several of them have been together since Central Michigan.

Watch the players eyes when he's talking to them in this video.

I have a good feeling that given the resources CBJ will have/has at UT and the better competition of the SEC UT will is in for big things once again.

Agree 100%. I think Dooley ran into that issue at UT.

I want the HC, OC, WR coach, OL coach, & RB coach all on the same page. If you have that cohesion, it will most likely work.

Successful coaches can bring successful assistants. Mediocre coaches have to try to find successful assistants.

Agreed. At least we won't have a mass exodus of assistants next year. We may lose 1 here or there, but it could be to a promotion instead of lateral moves. Continuity baby!

Doesn't matter. We are in no position to say what The Butcher does is wrong. I'm behind whatever decisions he makes until I have reason not to be.
