I haven't watched them until Sat night, I was really impressed with their athleticism.

Just wanted to see what everyone else thought. So I'll hang up and listen. :p

IMO they are the most "athletic"team in the NCAA this year. Whether or not they are the "best" is yet 2 be determined.

last year i thought they were the 2nd most athletic behind Memphis..
Now i'm pretty sure they are the most athletic in the nation !

Memphis, North Carolina, and Wake Forest are behind them..

Are you talking about in Tennessee? I can probably agree with that.

you are out of your mind.

there were about 50 of them.

We started Lofton, who was one of the least athletic players in the country. We also started Chism, who is no athletic beast. Two of our first 3 off the bench were Howell and Williams, neither of whom has a 25" vertical.

In fact, we rarely had the most athletic team on the floor last season.

Bad thing is Tennessee only has one point guard

I really believe this years Vols would beat last years team. I know it's only one game but, Maze makes a big difference.

No, technically Tyler was a Buzz Peterson recruit.

But he never came after Buzz recruited him. Hargrave then Iowa. Came back, so he could be counted as a Bruce recruit.

And I do believe that Bruce would have tried to get him out of high school anyways.

Have to agree with BigPapaVoll. I think you must have forgotten how U of L made us look in the round of sixteen. Louisville's athletes were far superior to ours and I thought it was very obvious.

Hands down the most atheltic team we've had. Smith and Hopson are two of the most athetlic players in the country. Apparently Negedu is a physical specimen as well and may be third on the team in terms of athetlic ability. Prince is also very athletically gifted. I haven't really seen enough of Maze, Woolridge, or Tatum yet but they sound pretty solid. There are a lot of players in the country more athetlic than Chism and Tabb, and pretty much everyone including the towel boys are more athetlic than Childress and Hubert.

Jerry Green had some very, very athletic teams. They played stupid and were very poorly coached, but they were some kind of athletic.

Last years team definetely wasnt a very athletic team. When we were starting Jordan Chris Jajuan Tyler and Wayne we definetly werent very athletic. And BW and Chill coming off the bench didnt help much. This years team is probably the complete opposite. The only question in the starting 5 would be Wayne but he's a 5 you look at NC or Memphis last year and i dont think their 5's were any more athletic. So yes, i think this years team definetely has an arguement as one of the most athletic teams in the nation. Only time will tell though whether they truly are or not.

QFT. Tony Harris, Marcus Haislip, Isiah Victor, Harris Walker (in the brief time he was here), just to name a few.

(Ron Slay, not so much, but he was a scoring machine.)

The last year of Jerry Green's tenure, a decent level of coaching could have gotten us to the Final Four. The talent was there, without question.

I believe with this except you said Memphis's center wasnt more athletic than Chism..
that's wayyyy wrong.. joey DOrsey was prolly the most athletic center in the nation last year..

Yea i dont know about the most athletic in the nation, id probably give that honor to michael beasley who played the 5 majority of the time for ksu. But Dorsey was always in foul trouble, and looking at the memphis-ut game (which was just re-run on espn classic) chism out played him both offesnsively and defensively, and hands down outrebounded on both ends of the floor.
