I would hope that every fan who is able to be there would be there. Fans should understand the process and want to be there if all possible to help create a tough environment for opposing teams, especially when it's insufferable Vandy. It may not have the appeal of a UGA, USC, etc, but this game is huge in terms of getting to a bowl and putting Vandy back in their place. Every win is a big part of the process, especially against an in state team that has had success and momentum, and can affect recruiting (see Von Bell). Beating Vandy badly and making a bowl will have a big impact on what Butch is tying to do. Scoreboards talk.
Also, the seniors deserve a great and enthusiastic crowd. They have experienced the lowest point of UT football, so I hope they get a taste of what it once was and what it will soon be again, thanks to their efforts. Here's hoping for a classic UT football Saturday night, like we used to have.
