Nations should always do everything within their power and within reason to avoid war. War is an abomination, it's horror, it's despicable, but when a nation is forced into war the one goal should always be to permanently and without prejudice eliminate the threat. Trying to fight a humane war is a fools errand.

I would say they would be far better served to focus on ending the war, not just ending their enemy. their people will suffer far less that way.

your way leaves no option beyond death. ending the war allows for many options, including death of all.

The problem with this is that Hamas and Palestinians think Israel picked the fight. You're acting like it started on 10/7. It did not. This is why the only reasonable way to look at it is to say the person pulling the trigger is responsible. JFC. I can't even believe this is a take.

semantics and technicalities those at war have no latitude to figure out in the middle of the fight. which its why those of us at peace and on the sidelines can establish those technicalities and semantics, so that the next time, its a little bit better. its why we should all be pushing for peace, to allow for those distinctions to be made, and to end the current mess. regardless of who started it.

If you were pushing for peace you would be pushing for Hamas to hand over the hostages, surrender and face justice. Not for Israel to withdrawal and give them time to rearm for another attack.

I watched an old movie a few years back and turns out it was filmed in Lebanon. Granted it was a movie but the scenery was gorgeous. I imagine Gaza would be a great vacation spot minus the current inhabitants.

Those goalposts are now across the field and halfway up the stadium steps. I keep hearing here that Israel's 20% non-Jewish population has equal rights (even though it's not true). Wasn't Israel created for them too? If not, then yes Israel is the only current state created for Jews.
It's not accurate to say I hate Israel. They currently and historically have and have had generally sh't leadership, and I strongly disagree with their foreign policy. But there are a lot of good people there.

1. No, Israel has American bombs. The UXO's of which hamas uses for the charges of their missiles.

The problem here is both sides think it’s to the death and there can only be one. The outsiders are surprised by the brutality and think they can impose a ceasefire and 2 states. Thats never going to happen. Hamas attacked women and children indiscriminately. Israel is bombing the **** out of anyone close to Hamas.

This looks about like any other war to me.

Palestinian Terror uses all the money and supplies (water pipes) gifted to it by the International Community, and turns it into weapons of more terror.

Israel isn’t doing that. It’s not Israel pissing Gaza charity down the drain.
