Gays have been killed in the US for being gay too. I guess they were happy that it wasn't the government that killed them. So, which countries throw gays off of roofs? Which have?

The difference? If a gay is killed in the US, the culprit is prosecuted. In countries in the Middle East (with the exception of Israel), the government looks the other way.
Like I say, if I am killed by a criminal given free reign by the government, I guess I am somehow „less dead“ than if the government itself did the deed </sarcasm>

Where have I pushed for Israel to withdraw? early on, back in October and November I was for a ceasefire to get the hostages out of there and was called a terrorists for suggesting it, I don't think I have made any recent calls for Israel to leave.

I don't believe I have said the Israeli fighters should all be hung as war criminals, or even their politicians. I don't think I have even said their politicians should even be tried.

I am just pointing out they are responsible for their actions and receiving a lot of denial of that.

Its a difference without distinction. Jews aren't one tier of world citizens, and the rest of us some lower class where their Jeweyness gives them special privileges.

just because its different doesn't mean Israel's representation is not responsible for their actions. we shouldn't ignore war crimes just because they are Jewish or their opponents are Muslims. their race/religion/creed/ethnicity have nothing to do with the culpability of their leaders.

their government isn't above any other government. their laws aren't above anyone else's laws. their actions aren't above comment or possible punishment.

It's not often that terrorists are elected though. But Menachem Begin resigned in 1983 and when Yitzak Shamir lost in 1992 he stepped aside. What other terrorists have won elections?

Notice I said we…..we are all absolutely backseating this thing. This entire thread is backseaating the situation.

And I agree they are responsible for their actions. I just think they no longer give a **** what anyone else thinks about it.


Like it or not the situation remains as I said, it’s to the death. Neither side will accept a 2 state solution regardless of how the rest of the world feels about it

The specific pipes that were dug out are were gifted by a European country. Switzerland I believe but it’s been awhile since I read the story.

Everyone is responsible for their actions. Hamas is responsible for theirs as well.
Responsible to who remains the question.
In my mind leadership is responsible for their people.
And while I’ve said I’d do things differently if it were up to me…one group is on the attack on behalf of their people while the other group is using their families as shields.
