And yet it is.that's not how it works. especially when those in power is killing those who speak out against them.
If you voted for Trump but have accepted Biden, you didn't elect Biden just because you haven't thrown him out of office.
yeah because I trust polls when the people taking them have a gun to their head and dead compatriots as examples.Such a weird argument given Hamas has 75% support.
“They didn’t elect them! They just have overwhelming support from the citizens!”
where does that line stop/start? if you want to start holding people accountable for the actions of the politicians they DIDN'T elect you are going to have some serious issues. No government with the slightest bit of democratic process, including most republics, is going to be able to function. And yet it is.
If I’m not throwing off a tyrannical government that’s refusing to hold elections then the results of their actions are just as much my fault as theirs.
I didn't see any guns pointed at those dragging bodies and celebrating their the streets after Hamas attacked Israel....I still see no calls for surrender from Palestinians...even anonymously..maybe slice is right, time to listen to what both sides are saying and they are saying they cannot exist togetheryeah because I trust polls when the people taking them have a gun to their head and dead compatriots as examples.
you never found it funny how ALL of these dictatorships manage to keep extremely high approval ratings at home? never thought that maybe, just maybe, the numbers are manipulated?
You can count on people like me to rebel the second someone here declares themselves god emperor and does away with elections. Now, we as a people do hold them accountable through the next election. Till then there’s no comparison here.where does that line stop/start? if you want to start holding people accountable for the actions of the politicians they DIDN'T elect you are going to have some serious issues. I don’t know if it’s that weird, really. If we want to argue that kids are indoctrinated by a belief system because that’s all they know, and therefore should be treated accordingly, then that’s an argument I’m willing to listen too. I know that I thought differently as a child than I do as a 50+ year old. Some things I still believe and some things I have rejected because life taught me they were BS.When one deals in dishonest BS like you, correctly pointing out that the teenagers in Gaza did not “elect Hamas” in 2006 is a “weird argument”
how many people did you actually see out there celebrating? 5% of the population? 10-25%? They absolutely exist, by trying to say its a representative body of the entire population is remarkably lazy and imo nefarious in intent. How many times have we seen "behind the scenes" pictures of live video interviews, protests, celebrations where it looks like a bunch of people on the main view due to perspective, but then you see it from another angle and its a laughably small group? maybe the streets we saw filled was literally it, every person they could get to celebrate their cause in one single view, and only in those small areas. Even given saturday in the fall I can go to at least 3 or 4 bars, and make you think Atlanta only cheers for the Vols.I didn't see any guns pointed at those dragging bodies and celebrating their the streets after Hamas attacked Israel....I still see no calls for surrender from Palestinians...even anonymously..maybe slice is right, time to listen to what both sides are saying and they are saying they cannot exist together
lol. you aren't that naive. You can count on people like me to rebel the second someone here declares themselves god emperor and does away with elections. Now, we as a people do hold them accountable through the next election. Till then there’s no comparison here.
according to whom? Hamas? you really think Hamas is letting people with very restricted access to the outside world give honest and reflective opinions? The opinion polls are pretty recent. The sentiments are practically unchanged.
Hamas enjoys the same amount of support among 19.6 year olds as they did with their parents.
Except we don’t see results in Palestinian polling like you’re alluding to in North Korea.yeah because I trust polls when the people taking them have a gun to their head and dead compatriots as examples.

That’s not what the opinion polls say. Maybe you should check them outaccording to whom? Hamas? you really think Hamas is letting people with very restricted access to the outside world give honest and reflective opinions?
I guess you think Kim Jung Un has a 100% approval rating. he has the polls to back it up.
