I guess I was “SPOILED”! When I was a student at Tennessee, I saw Peyton Manning’s Senior season, Then the VOLS won the NC in football- 1998!

Meanwhile, The Lady VOLS basketball won the NC in 1996, 1997, & 1998!

But, I Raised him right! — VFL!

We HAVE to win this MCWS!

Got a bunch of individual titles in track, swimming, etc.........but you're right, team wise and more of a national prominent sport you're looking at womens BB in 2008. Definitely been a minute and I'm excited for the weekend!!!

Right. Track has also won it all since then. And softball has played for a couple, which is all we’ve accomplished with this baseball team so far.

Our last national title was in Men's Doubles Tennis 2 or 3 years ago--not a team title, obviously.

Here's a cool chance conversation ? I guess that would be a good choice of words. I 'm 71 yrs old, and bleed ORANGE . I have Tennessee hats, socks, shirts, stickers on my truck, and a Tennessee Orange golf bag. I was playing in Syracuse Utah on Tuesday and waiting to tee off and a younger guy walks by my cart and says "Go Vols" I gave him a fist pump and agreed. I then asked him what he thought about the baseball VOLS. He proceeded to applaud them and said he was a big fan even though he went to Auburn. The best part ? he said his Dad played at Tennessee as a pitcher in 1973 !! His name is Bob Wittlesey from Clinton Tennessee ! How cool is that !
