Scheduling GaT was STUPID. They ran a complex option offense ("flexbone") and you had to devote at least a week of practice to prepare for it. While other teams were refining their defense and making adjustments that would make them better throughout the season, we were wasting time trying to learn how to defend an offense we would never see again. Memories of seeing film of Butch's practices the week preceding the GaT game still makes me nauseous.Thank God it's not Georgia Tech.
I enjoyed watching the Vols vs that flexbone. Why does everyone always want the easy route?Scheduling GaT was STUPID. This is where fried chicken came from. The Romans consulted the sacred chickens just before a major battle, lost, then took their wrath out with 11 herbs and spices. Colonel Sanders stole that recipe.Laugh if you will, but the ancient Romans never entered battle without first consulting the sacred chickens that armies carried with them. True story!!!!
