That many people treat current affairs in the same manner they would team sports.
Was there ever a time when people sat back as individuals and weighed an issue without any sort of group mentality affecting their judgment?
It's what happens all the time in television news, cable, printed press, etc. People using topic after topic as a platform with which to call out the right, the left, republicans, democrats, conservatives or liberals.
It leaves a bad taste in my mouth from nearly all sources of information, which in turn makes it incredibly difficult to stay informed, which in turn makes it difficult for me to vote.
The only time I've watched cable news programming for more than ten minutes in the last five years has been C-Span. No lie.
Reply how you want.
