Hart thinks that he has Jimbo in the bag. I think he's waiting on FSU to play in the ACC championship game before he tries to lock him up for real. I'm uncomfortable with it, and it's not like I have many connections- but that's just what it looks like.

I'd be OK with Fisher. Not excited about Golden, Fedora, or some of the other coaches mentioned.

Didn't somebody post on Cliffs Notes that Jimbo's dad said that he would listen to Auburn but thats it? But then again, didn't Hart hire Jimbo while he was at FSU?

What the **** is so great about fisher? I say just keep throwing money at Gruden until he's stupid not to come.

I only want Fisher or Golden if it's down to a guy like Kirby Smart. I just don't see why Fisher would leave FSU for UT.

And what is so great about Gruden? He isn't the god of all things football. His record is mediocre. He was fired from his last football job. I don't know why everyone brown-noses him so much here.

Hey - like Hart or not, the guy has to be smart enough to line up some backup coaches in case King Gruden rebuffs the Vols

My wife is an FSU grad, so I see a lot of their games and i'm not a big fan of Fisher to be honest....but it's not like Hart is listening to me.

Fisher is a pretty decent coachand a really good recruiter. Also I think Hart has ties with him from FSU. I think Fisher would be a solid hire. Much better than Golden. Although I would rather see Butch Davis before Golden or Fisher.

I highly doubt it...But that is my opinion...Fisher has it made there, Great recruiting class coming in and a lot of players returning next season...He's got a NC contender next year...Why leave that to come to this disaster?

What's Jimbo's NFL record? It's hard to get fired from something you can't even get consideration for.

Not sure to look to much into this but a 3 star recruit that is committed to FSU out of Dothan, AL tweeted this morning that he just picked up an offer from Tennessee. Tennessee isn't listed on any of his school choices on Rivals. Might mean nothing though. It is interesting.

Fisher has SEC experience as well so..while not the home run I would hope for I could get behind the hire.

There is no think to it, IMO. Hart and Fisher have a good enough relationship, I would imagine he has a pretty good idea exactly what Jimbo's plans are.
