I don't care if I miss every pic 'em as long as it helps the Vols have a shot at a NC.
If USC loses and we take care of our business we could easily be in the Rose Bowl.
If we had wins over LSU, GA, Bama, and ND plus a SECCG win, we'd be a lock.
Just win Vols.

We are going to have to improve a ton on offense to even start thinking about running the table.

I think we will improve. You have to call today's game Clausen's first real game of the season.
If coach will just let him play he'll get better. Also, he looked pretty decent on a coupld of long throws today. I believe he'll burn some people with the long ball once he and the receivers get more in sync. With him getting 90% of the snaps in practice it can only help their rythm.

I am not talking about just Clausen. The o-line needs to get healthy and get an attitude if Fulmer/Sanders are going to insist on trying to run out of the I formation. We are not physical enough to do that. You saw today that we are much better running out of the spread formations and letting Riggs make plays.
I put a lot of blame on the recievers. Still not playing near as well as they should. The coaches need to find a way to get those guys involved and in a rhythm. We can't seem to find our groove.
DBs have played well this year but there were several busted coverages today that a good QB would have made us pay for.

I agree on the Oline.
I do believe our problem with the entire offense has to do with how poorly we've thrown the ball up to the last half of the LSU game.
The defenses haven't been giving us much downfield because our receivers couldn't catch a cold past the 15 yard mark.
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I believe the alternating of QBs has had the entire passing game out of sync. If we'll stick with Rick I believe that will change.
I believe today's effort would beat GA. I'm not sure if today's effort would beat Bama though. Either they're very good or Florida's playing like the Vols in the first half of the LSU game.
I believe Fl comes back and makes a game of it.

Wow, I don't believe today's effort beats Georgia. A good teams doesn't have 3 turnovers and miss as many tackles as Ole Miss did today.

Just saying that I don't believe we would have beaten UGA today with the way we played.
OldVol, you are right, anything can happen. If our offense can find some sort of rhythm and we don't give the ball away we will be hard to beat. Otherwise, if we drop balls and hurt ourselves with penalites, we will have a hard time beating a top 25 team.
