Some key things I picked up from the game.

1. McBee is a real factor in the outcome of games. 0 points today. In the last 4 games he was 16-28 from 3 pt range and averaging 13 points.
2. Maymon is consistent. 20 points and 6 boards (something like that) was a good showing.
3. I thought that going inside would be the key to the game. Instead the Vols took 20 threes..and only made 4.
4. Turnovers. Simple as that. Repeatedly I saw players making dumb passes and dropping the ball.
5. Guard play isn't terrible, but Golden needs help. Time after time Golden was trapped and no one came to help. Guards cant do everything themselves.
6. Overall, Golden is definitely stepping up. Whenever UT seems to slump, he takes the initiative to create offense. Golden is really improving. The whole team needs to help him.
7. Stokes. He's in a lot better shape than I thought he would be. Having him for the next year is scary for other teams. I see him making a lot of noise next year.
8. Kenny Hall...You needed him. Simple as that.

Good effort vols. I really thought you would have shown up today. There's still a slimmer of hope left for the Big Dance. But gotta win out.

Was anyone as scared as me when McRae flipped? I jumped off the coach. Scary.

Very scary. Luckily he didn't land on his head. If he wasn't built like a rubber band, he probably would have broken his arm at the very least.

A multitude of things could have happened. Concussion, broken arm, anything really.

Lucky guy.

Showing my age here, but growing up in North Carolina, I remember in the 1974 East Regionals, the greatest leaper in bb I've ever seen, David Thompson of N.C. State, went down the lane with his 47" vertical and was undercut by an opponent. He did a 180 an did land on his head. Really scary. They carted him off and at the end of the game he came back into the arena. They ended up winning the whole enchilada.
One of the great lines by a coach, was his late coach Norm Sloan. Asked if it was true that the 6'4" Thompson could snatch a dollar bill off the top of the backboard, he said," Yes, but he can't leave change". One of the truly great players I've ever witnessed.

Don't see us dancing playing like this. Just too damn inconsistent. Not In Tournament bound....

Alabama wasn't the better team, sometimes you just can't put the ball in the basket. It happens. I like that even shooting that bad, we were still playing hard and was still in striking distance late, ( just needed to make a few shots) didn't happen! I like the future of this team, should be really tough next yr.

It's not necessarily him. The offense relies on someone hitting outside shots, and he happens to be a frequent open shooter.

4 straight games with 13 points was huge. He took bad shots today and got scored on numerous times. He was missed a lot today.
