I know you guys could care less about what I or any other Bama fan thinks about UT or your coaches but from an outside view this is what I feel about the coaches today and the play calling....

UT coaches did a hell of a job!!!
Like I said in another thread...I said out loud more than 10 times...."what a great call"

UT smoked us with that screen play at just the right time evrey time...and ya did it again on the fumble...

The question I would ask if I were looking to put the blame on somebody ( I would not..a loss is a team loss period)
Did the play work? YES...It was the perfect call at the perfect time again...only a perfect hit right on the ball saved our butts...I'm not saying blame the guy who fumbled..I'm saying ya can't blame the coaches..heck the guy was going to score only because they picked the perfect play at the perfect time again!!! JMHO

I know how the Bama fans feel today. The same way I feel when we beat the Gators. We can talk about "beating ourselves" all day long, but the Bama fans don't care. They won and that's all that matters.

Enjoy it Bama fans. I would if WE had won.

To blame Anderson, is wrong.IMO
Law of physics, played a huge factor in that "fumble".

Anderson is a 270 lb fullback. We should be able to expect a 270 lb FB to be able to take a tough hit without fumbling.

I'm more forgiving when a 190 lb receiver get hit and has the ball jarred loose, but a 270 lb fullback??

He should be jarring the people trying to tackle him, not getting the ball jarred away from him.

Its not like we dont have anyone on the bench who can play the position. David Holbert was one of the highest recruited FB's in the country when we signed him.

This wasnt the first time for anderson messing up a potentially big play. its time for people to be held accountable. He needs to be benched and let someone else show what they can do in a game.

I didn't like the reverse call to Lucas Taylor. Against a defense like Bama has a reverse is not a good call. Other thann that I think Sanders called a good game

this game was more execution then coaching. then again, they offense should be more motivated.

It all boils down to discipline and folks this team does not have it, and that is a reflection on coaching. When I played and coached, the attitude was simple either get it done or we'll find someone that can and you will take a seat on the bench.. Until CPF starts taking this attitude then we all can expect much of the same mental mistakes...It's his ship and he needs to get it righted..

Absolutely!!! It is time for people to be held accountable. I'm sick of seeing CPF clapping his hands and slapping people on the butt when they make mistakes. I want to see some people getting an ear full and taking a seat on the bench until they can get their head in the game. And the accountabilty factor should extend to more than just the players.

Your correct on your commentary but, it is too late to correct it this year because the slide started back in 2000. This is a cumulative affect of being a " players" coach a.k.a. No Discipline>

Thanks, if it was such a great play call, I should have Sanders' job b/c I called that FB screen before he did.

Why?

Because he is so predictable, it's been called 3x before in near the same situations and if Hines wasn't looking for it, he blew it, it's right there in the archived films.

:bad:
