He's got to get back in the game from 3. Been ice cold for 2 weeks.

And why hasnt CCM put woolridge in to take the 3s?

Who do you want Woolridge to play for? Mcbee?

If you think skylar has trouble guarding his position you'd cringe at watching Woolridge attempt to play D on an opposing 2.(he can't even guard a 3, that's why he hasn't been playing)

If skylar hits its a plus, but I'd rather McRae keep up his play, and tatum find his stroke. If those 2 can provide 12-15 ppg then the need for skylar diminishes greatly, and those two contribute much more than just offense.

Because he isn't a good shooter despite what one random performance against UK would lead you to believe

mcbee is a terrible shooter on the road, we have to win without him tonight. quit relying so much on the three, anyway. take the ball inside, tonight !!!!

This.

If we could get their 7' guy in foul trouble well bc sitting pretty. He's a frosh, but definitely their best player IMO.

Tatum can't hit the 3 on the road either.

McBee might start tonight but he won't see extended minutes.
Stringer is too quick for him.
McRae's length would give him fits.
Big night for McRae on defense.
Control Hamy and make their guards win it.
And hold on to the pumpkin.

As long as McRae and tatum play like they have the last couple games they'll both get around 30 minutes. That doesn't leave much for sky or josh, and I'm five with that.

We're at our best when McRae and Tatum are playing well.

I'm a little leery about the Hickey/Golden match up but IF McRae and tatum show up, Stokes has his game of the season and Maymon is Maymon, we'll do well.
IF!!!

I expect to see a ton of Mcrae tonight, Assuming he's still competing hard in practice and earning his minutes. It has become more and more clear that while skylar gives you more effort than most anybody, if he's not hitting his shots... his value on the floor is greatly diminished. McRae is longer, more atheletic, and can score in a greater variety of ways. Not to mention he's shooting the ball much better than mcbee lately.

In other news, i think tatum has almost embraced the fact that he doesnt have the same shooting touch. He seems to be shooting much less and doing more of the little things much much better. He's a team leader, and i think he's played great the last two games. He doesnt need to make shots if he can play great defense, keep the offense in motion and running smoothly, and play his tail off. He has been doing that. Im glad to see tatum going hard and not worrying about getting shots up.

McBee might be in a slump for the last few games but Golden has sure stepped his parameter game up. his stroke is pure.

Hickey is QUICK!!! It'll be interesting to see if CCM tells golden to back off of him and make him shoot from outside instead of beat you off the dribble. he's only shooting 30% on the year from 3, so id take my chances atleast to start the game, and back off him.

The best thing Woolridge can do for this team is graduate. Sorry but 4* prospect out of Cali with an NBA dad? Besides the UK performance, blah.

btw, it's all down to Trae, Maymon, Stokes, Mcrae and Cam before it's down to McBee and his 4-7 shots per game

agree 100%.

if those guys come to play, mcbee wont see major minutes, and it wont matter if he is hitting or not. if the players you named come ready to play we will be just fine imo.

I'm more concerned about Hickey guarding Golden.
Could be a turnover fest. Kid's up there in steals and forcing tos.
