Not so crazy. Nate and Riley were wise to leave. The pseudo coach of their time at the UT were career-killers. Astro was spared only because of his exceptional athleticism. In short, Dobb's success was not because of the coach, rather in spite of the coach.

Back then, I used to refer to Nathan as Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater as a nickname for him. Not anymore, as I have since learned the nursery rhyme is actually about Peter killing his wife and burying her in the pumpkin patch. Matter-of-fact, all those kiddie songs have ulterior meanings.
