A few things jumped out at me from that article-

1. I found it amusing that the article was based on the observations of someone named Pat Dooley. Does Dools have a kid at UF these days?

2. Lot of focus on slogans, etc. Been there, done that one-brick by brick.

We ain’t losing to Florida this season. I know people have BVS but we are a much better team than they are this season. 1st year coach on the road in a rabid environment after he will already have 2 losses. Florida will be leaving Knoxville with 3 losses. Book it.

I can see Utah but Kentucky has been favored before and not gotten it done.

I’ll stick to believing it when I see it against Fl.

This ain’t your daddy’s Kentucky football program. Florida will be overmatched against them.

They’ve been through numerous 4-win seasons and even an 0-10-1 season so they will survive. If not, I’m sure there’s enough room on Georgia’s or Alabama’s bandwagon 😜

Articles like this are ridiculous, things can change so much during the season. It’s just so hard to know when we haven’t seen them play.

That's true. And as far as the expectations of fans, I think most recognize this is a transition year. I'm looking for improving line play, continued success recruiting, organization, and the sense that we are developing players for the NFL. We aren't Alabama, but if UF could regain dominance in the state for Florida kids who want to be trained and coached in that direction, we will rapidly ascend.

How are you feeling about Utah? I'm so tempted to put money of UF. But I dont know much about Utah. It just seems wild UF is a home dog against Utah of all teams. Maybe I'm just living in the past idk.

Utah was a freak QB concussion injury away from beating Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, and they return the majority of their starters from last year.

I know more about Utah, and what to expect from Utah than I do my own team. UF is a complete unknown.
