I love draft weekend! It's a time for hope and optimism, something a lot of us lose as soon as the season starts.

For your team, name...
1. Who you want
2. Who you DON'T want
3. Predict the actual pick

Panthers

1. Star Lotulelei (best case scenario) / Cordarrelle Patterson (realistic want)
2. Kennan Allen
3. Kenny Vaccaro

Denver: a defensive lineman. I've learned to trust Elway's decision making, he's nailed just about every one so far.

49ers:
Want: Jesse Williams
Realistic: Johnathan Cyprien
Do Not Want: Margus Hunt with the first or Datone Jones

It's a popular rumor that SF is trying to trade up into the middle of the first round. I think I'd take picks 31 and 34 for 14. Can you and I finalize that deal officially?
Deal is off if Lotulelei falls.

1. Mingo
2. Any of these WR (in the first round)
3. I hope they trade down unless Mingo does fall to 24

Detroit Lions

Who I want: Dee Milliner is the next Darrelle Revis. He will shut down one side of the field. You draft him, he helps out the rest of the defense.

Who I don't want: Ezekiel Ansah. I understand his athletic ability. I think he'll be solid. But the Lions don't need a pass rusher.

Who they will pick: Eric Fisher. I'm fine with this. The O-Line needs to improve and Fisher has a lot of potential while being to help out from day one.

Then no. I would only trade up for Star, no other position is worth trading up.

I love the NFL Draft!!!

Falcons:

1. Pass Rushing DE
2. Run Stopping DT
3. LB / OL

I expect this to be a fairly boring draft for the Falcons outside of the first pick. Defensive heavy for the birds.

It better be, and hope those picks are good. If not your defense is in some trouble

We have 2 main area of needs. DL and LB. Not getting Grimes back will sting a little. If we could have stopped the run we would have played in the Super Bowl, that simple. I think our think tank has a good grip on what needs to be done.

Problem is you lost Abraham, and replaced him with Usi. Who doesn't play the run well. Was Grimes that safety who played the run? If so that's not good.

Abraham was a every other down player, Osi is pretty much a wash with Abraham. Grimes missed all of last year with an achilles. I just mentioned him in regards to our possible draft needs. He was a good tackler, but was best in defending the pass, he's a corner.

Didn't you guys lose another saftey? I'm not sure, but that would affect y'alls defense.

Dunta Robinson to the Chiefs. He was a lights out hitter, relatively poor open field tackler. Losing him will hurt, but I'm sure there is a plan. I will not miss his 15 yard helmet to helmet penalties however...

Just like the Niners with Goldston.
