The third Saturday of our football season for the past 20+ years has consistently knocked us out of any SEC East or Natty chances. I'm sick and tired of that happening and I am not going to take it anymore. I live fulltime now in Florida and just 5 minutes ago, I adhered the "T" front plate to my car. I believe in the Vols, Coach Heupel, our Baseball Vols, BBall Vols, Lady Vols and every VN'ite. We can and will take care of business today.

Game Day question for y'all. I understand why ESPN College Gameday is in Boulder. It makes no sense to me why SEC Nation is in Starkville of all places. Tennessee Florida is the premiere SEC game of the day, and Georgia SCar would have been a better pick as well. What am I missing about Miss St LSU?

How about a pregame speech before running out onto Steve Spurrier / Ben Hill Griffen Stadium:

Alright team, we know it's going to be a nasty, loud, and hostile crowd out there, but we aren't a bunch of *ussies to be intimidated by these fools. When you are out there on the field and they're trying to get after us, stop and think about our fans and what they've had to go through in this rivalry. They've had piss bombs thrown on them by these trashy insufferable idiots, been harassed before, after, during the games and throughout the offseason. The mistakes that Tennessee has had down here before us have nothing to with this game. Sure, we're going to make some mistakes- it's a damn football game; coaches and players are going to make them. We are going to continue to fight and have each others backs in this thing and support each other and lift each other up. We aren't going to going to hang our heads and pout or be demoralized. We are the alpha dogs damnit and we are the better team. When they do that sick gator smack sounding chant, remember your alphaness and that us dogs run and attack in packs - as a team. We are going to hit them a lick harder and harder and tackle them in gangs on defense - meeting them as a host of Volunteers. We aren't going to get penalties for stupid damn things like celebrating or post play antics. Keep your mouths shut and let your play show your strength.

Honestly, im glad. Takes the pressure off some.

LSU could be knocked out of title contention with a loss today. Could be big. And MSU is a feel good story because of Leach/Arnett. Im glad Arnett is having success. He was bound to get a shot at being a HC, I just hate it happened how it did.

Doesn't matter who else is playing cause Gameday and the rest of this football season will be devoted to Prime Time and Colorado No other team/coach/player need to inquire

I take them all in and savor every minute bc the season goes by so fast. At the end of today the season is 25% over.
