Tonight we will find out what we really have.

It's time to "separate the stove-wood from the kindling" and watch the cream rise to the top. Hopefully, those couple of extra days of practice has given the coaches some time to prepare and find the winning combinations.

Without a doubt, the talent is there and now it is time for them to perform at their potential.

Gut check time

I hope with the extra days we were able to find a special teams unit that can actually execute.

Off topic, sorry guys, but:

Dr.RosenRosen - you might quite possibly have the best screen name I've ever seen.

Tailgate in your office!!

:dance2:

I wish I'd have thought sooner. We'd have had a tailgate party at school today.

There's still time before lunch. Surely you can find a bag of Doritos somewhere in that school.

LIO, you might be on to something. I bet I'd get a lot more Dads bringing me patients if we had the SportsAnimal Gameday All-day on in the waiting room and were serving beer 'n brauts.

I'll see what my office manager thinks. . . .

Hit'em and hit'em again...

REMEMBER THESE:

General Robert Neyland's 7 Maxims of Football

1. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win.

2. Play for and make the breaks and when one comes your way - SCORE.

3. If at first the game - or the breaks - go against you, don't let up... put on more steam.

4. Protect our kickers, our QB, our lead and our ball game.

5. Ball, oskie, cover, block, cut and slice, pursue and gang tackle... for this is the WINNING EDGE.

6. Press the kicking game. Here is where the breaks are made.

7. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

NEYLAND once explained that an offense can score only three ways, while a defense can score in four ways; on an interception, a fumble, a blocked kick, or a kick return. He added, "The psychological shock of being scored on in any of those ways is so profound that a team so scored on rarely is able to rally for victory."
====================================

"My advice to defensive players:

Take the shortest route to the ball

and arrive in a bad humor."

Bowden Wyatt

Cowturd on ESPN radio said UT would get creamed. It's time for the Vols to prove to him and the other ESPN idiots that the Vols are looking for a kill. :gun: :machinegun:

Fulmer should run up the score if Tennessee has the lead to show LSU we don't appreciate being disrespected in their scheduling of games. :td:
