Neither.

Hire him.

Give Spurrier our talent, let him kick out Sanders and Washington, no telling what we can do offensively.

I firmly believe that SC is a stopover for him. With the way the SEC talent base, and recruiting capabilites of Auburn, Bama, Georgia, the upcoming talents of Arkansas, things are going to get tougher for the Vols. We have a demonstrated need to be able to produce offensively against these new, high speed, defenses; we need a new look or Phil et al best find one.

On top of that, we have an ever expanding football athletic budget and the fact that no new seat additions with the fabulous cosmetic changes coming to Neyland says something about the concern Vol movers and shakers have about the ability to fill more seats.
