While in Boston Manny was my all-time favorite baseball player, but after what he did to this team & the town last year i absolutely can't stand the man! Im so glad he is getting what he deserves, first the contract he did'nt want & now this. Im loving every second of it!

nevermind the fact he was probably on the juice while he was in Boston. but i bet that's OK because your team was winning.

that's pretty much exactly the point. i'm even guilty of it, if cheating helps my team win, i'm all for it. if it's someone i don't like, ban him for life.

I guess if a test result reveals you're guilty than you get 50 games but if your own mouth (A-Rod) admits your guilty than you're free to play.

Yes, it is sour grapes, I am a Dodgers fan. :banghead2:

Manny's antics in Boston were amusing, andnot as negative as the media would have you believe, until he signed with Boras and the contract deal started. Those 2 remind me oF George and Lennie from 'Of Mice and Men'.

Keyword in your post is PROBABLY, noone knew if Manny was taking them while he was in Boston. Was he? Porbably, but not 100% for sure. Would i have been happy with him cheating while in Boston, NO! I dont agree with cheating in one single way, if my team was caught cheating i would still like that team but i would be very upset with it.

Agree, i loved some of the antic's Manny did. They were hilarious but once the whole contract thing started Manny turned into a completely different person.

A source close to Manny Ramirez(notes) said Thursday that the illegal substance for which the Los Angeles Dodgers slugger tested positive was not “an agent customarily used for performance enhancing.”

At least not on the baseball diamond. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the substance is supposed to boost sex drive. It is not Viagra, but a substance that treats the cause rather providing a temporary boost in sexual performance, the source said.

It also contains HCG which can also be used to boost testosterone. It is also used to restart the body's ability to produce its own testoterone after a steriod cycle.
