Well no, not at all. New Orleans made it fine through Rita just fine. Very little damage whatsoever.

Baton Rouge is great as well.

Even Lake Charles is doing fine in many parts per a cousin of mine and reports from New Orleans such as:

WWLTV's Jonathan Betz: Only small parts of Lake Charles were flooded, and some homes received minor wind damage -- shingles were torn off of homes.


In addition, New Orleans Airport is open and I believe the Baton Rouge airport will be open today.

You know U-T I don't recall anyone on here calling it a war zone. I am glad that nothing happened bad. But the team could not have flown in this morning so it was a good call to move it. I still say the best would have been to move it to KTown to begin with then there would be none of this crap. IMO bad call LSU AD

:D I think he is referring to the fact that the media often portrays the area as a war zone....Could have fooled me. :D . But since when has the media portrayed anything the way it actually is.
