I'm cool with unanimous as long as you are. Probably the first unanimous vote in the history of this site, including who wants to beat Alabama.

That's impressive. Think about how far below everyone else you actually have to be to come up with unanimous victory. Boggles the mind, especially yours.

so what's worse, a power abusing VP candidate or a power abusing VP candidate who drops out?

is this not big news? she can't possibly be of any use to the GOP now.

still 24 days til election day and idiot liberals are already calling victory

btw, here are the findings.

Finding Number One

For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) provides

The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust.

Finding Number Two

I find that, although Walt MoneganÂ’s refusal to fire Trooper Michael Wooten was not the sole reason he was fired by Governor Sarah Palin, it was likely a contributing factor to his termination as Commissioner of Public Safety. In spite of that, Governor PalinÂ’s firing of Commissioner Monegan was a proper and lawful exercise of her constitutional and statutory authority to hire and fire executive branch department heads.

McCain campaign response:

TodayÂ’s report shows that the Governor acted within her proper and lawful authority in the reassignment of Walt Monegan. The report also illustrates what weÂ’ve known all along: this was a partisan led inquiry run by Obama supporters and the Palins were completely justified in their concern regarding Trooper Wooten given his violent and rogue behavior. Lacking evidence to support the original Monegan allegation, the Legislative Council seriously overreached, making a tortured argument to find fault without basis in law or fact. The Governor is looking forward to cooperating with the Personnel Board and continuing her conversation with the American people regarding the important issues facing the country.

Yes I also know what happened the last 8 years my memory on the last 8 years is alot better.

Just think about what damage Carter would have done if he would have followed Bush! That is what we are facing!

If you could get past your "stick it to the repubs" mentality you might be able to see how horrible of a choice Obama is at this moment. We need a fiscally responsible candidate who will decrease entitlements and spending.

But not too early for me to be an a-hole :)

Well at least you got that going for you. On a completely unrelated note, I was in the 'Boro this weekend. Buster's Burgers is AWESOME!! That place needs it's own thread on the Nation. Well except for the owner's allegiance with the gators...
