"It's night and day, like the darkest night and the clearest day," Swain said. "It's that big a difference. It all comes from the top. There's a big difference between Dooley and Butch Jones. It's night and day. Former players, they're talking to each other. They're excited. They're calling other people who are playing in the NFL, other players that you see on the walls (of the practice facility) as All-Americans. They're excited about coming back because this is their program."

There was a coach who was bad-ass and Butch was his name-o, B-U-T-C-H, B-U-T-C-H, B-U-T-C-H, and bUTch was his name-o!

A bit of a stretch with the song, I know, but I don't give a crap. I'm pumped now.

We can skin a buck

and a Butch boy can survive.

I apologise for this...only excuse I got is I'm sober.

Read what the Col had to say about Coach Jones and Staff at Tonys site. It is a great read and it will show you what the Alum think of The Coaches.

The more I hear and read about Dooley, the more I am wondering what in the heck he was doing. He was obviously in WAY over his head.

I like this quote:

I can sit here and tell you I have no doubt the future of Tennessee football is in good hands and I know without a doubt the wins will come. We have hired a winner !

Lol I may be going out on a limb here but I feel fairly confident that he would have found the door without any help from VolNation.

I agree but there are actual posters that believe the message board and Gruden threads ended Dooley's run.

All these people on here are gonna be all, "I love BUTCH he is a bad azz." But when the VOLS get throttled in the SEC again. We'll hear how bad of a coach he is and etc. We need to stick together with the players and coaches. Cuz we'll probably see another sub-par season before we start seeing clear cut progression.
