It's Unacceptable to be blown out by a crappy team.

We have a QB problem period. What did JG do today that was even remotely promising? All year for that matter? Maybe even his whole career? Terrible decision making. Sorry, he’s just not a good college QB...can’t cut it.

Why do people expect good things from a team that’s offensively deficient because QB position is very weak. Nobody can win like that. Let Mauer finish the year...play for the future.

He's a junior so unless he transfers we get one more year of this. Isn't that just the bees knees?

It's called being an adult and having choice. I chose the Vols. I don't like the fact they have been bad for 15 years but it also takes an adult to see that part of the problem is hiring a coach every 2-3 years. If you can't stand the Vols I assume your an adult you have a choice. And those of your thinking can kick rocks.
Butch was here 5 years!! Get your facts straight please

From 09 to 17 we had 3 coaches. That's an average of 3 years each. At least where I went to school
So your answer is to stick with a coach that you know is not going to have success just because you have this imaginary thing where you have to give them so many years. Bull crap. The problem is we let these coaches stick around too long and they dig the hole so deep the next guy can't dig out. Less hire a good coach and quit hiring these losers

And if you don't like it you have the option of moving on.

Believe me. Apathy is setting in. I used to get angry and be depressed all week. The only thing I'm angry about now is the fans that are okay with this. I blame them as much as anything. There's an old saying the least you expect is the most you ever get. So when you have fans that are okay with mediocrity or worse and do not demand excellence, this is what we get.

Too many people worship the coach not true football fans. They have man crushes. Winning isn't very important to these people.

All the hires and fires haven’t been a good thing.....but if things aren’t working you may have to keep doing it until it finally works......cause this ain’t working.

Call me crazy but I trust Fulmer's judgement before yours
Fulmer??? The same guy that stabbed Johnny Majors in the back? The same guy that sabotage the Mike Leach hire last year. Fulmer is all about himself. What kind of moron hires a guy that's never even been head coach of a high school football team to take over at a history-rich program like Tennessee? I don't trust his judgment. It looks like he made one of the worst hires in Tennessee History

I agree. Look at Alabama. They had to fire a number of coaches in a short amount of time but look what they wound up with. They didn't settle and they didn't listen to naysayers. They went and got the coach they wanted through trial and error.

There's probably room on their bandwagon if that's your thing

UF is undefeated, playing at home and ranked #9. We have a crap roster with the only real talent being the young players. Team is loaded with talent deficient upper class players with no heart. Our coaches aren't magicians. Not turning water to wine. Everyone with half a brain knows this is going to take a couple more years of good recruiting to turn around.
I don't disagree. Sadly, it seems that we continue to say this every year. It's always give it a few years, we'll turn it around. I hope you're right. That said, I have strong doubts that the current HC will be able to get this done. The glaring mistake that Fulmer and other AD's have made is we continue to hire people that have zero or very little experience running a Power 5 conference school. Maybe with some schools this works, but with us it obviously hasn't. I don't know what the answer is, but I doubt very seriously the current HC will successfully rebuild this program.
