I just picked up a new laptop today and installed iTunes. Is there a way to "retrieve" all the songs I have purchased using my old laptop?

I think they will sync from your ipod (or whatever device). Just put all your purchased music on the device and iTunes will ask if you want to transfer your purchases.

Edit: Try a program called TuneSwift for PC to PC transfer.
