in his little blog or whatever on ESPN.com, he has his weekly power rankings...and don't get me wrong, i'm not a huge fan of his, but this got a chuckle out of me...cause if you read his stuff, he's been fairly blunt about TN and fulmer over the off season...

but he has TN at #8 in his power rankings, and the comment he has out to the side simply says:

"forgive me Fulmer, i have sinned...."

just thought that was funny.

i absolutely agree ^. sorry to be a downer especially since i'm so new here, but one win over a possibly way overrated Cal team does not make all right in the world. i need at least 8 more victories just to somewhat happy. a complete ten win season might make me totally happy. an undefeated season would definitely do it, but i'm not banking on it yet. i mean corso picked cal to win it all, doesn't that show you something about how bad they probably are?

After last season, you can't blame us for getting excited because we have a winning record. The players need to have a different outlook though. Take it one week at a time... don't get complacent or in a comfort zone... keep getting better every week.
