To be a Vol fan in 40+ years. This entire staff, team and Athletics Administration should be ashamed and embarrassed. We should clean house from the top (Cheek and Hart) down (Dooley and staff except Jay Graham). We have been wasting money with contracts and buy-outs like Obama and our Federal Govt has with our $16 trillion debt

I am in shock to see them getting blown out by Vanderbilt. They have to fire to him before Kentucky.

As in another thread...I don't Hate this team but ashamed...yea along with embarrassed. Losing is one thing but giving up...yes giving up and not caring and getting your asses kicked is something else.

The peak of my embarrassment was watching Dooley let the clock run out at the end of regulation last week. But this tonight was really d*mn close.

I'm not happy about the state of the program. But hey, it's not the end of the world. There are much worse things that could happen.

I didn't think it could get any worse than the Kentucky loss last season. Now we're looking at potentially three straight losses to Mizzou, Vandy, and UK. Absolutely pathetic. My 11 year old brother asked us during the game tonight why we cheer for Tennessee.. This is bad folks

Anyone responsible for retaining Dooley for another season should be fired.

As that will not happen, then I would hope those who were responsible will be kept out of the loop on the new coach until the decision is made by those who are actually Tennessee men and give a damn about the tradition and history of Tennessee football.

Lord have mercy. I have lived in Middle Tennessee my entire life and these jackassess only get to come out every 15 years or so on average thankfully. Hart needs to rectify this.

It's disheartening how little our players seem to care. They don't even play for pride. We have a culture of losing and quitting, and I'm much more ashamed of that than I am of the team's record. We're going to have to lose some coaches and some players to change that.

I'm sorry, but I'm ashamed of the team this week too. I defended them so adamantly these past weeks, saying that they hadn't given up and were playing for the love of the game. They just made me eat my words tonight. They just laid down and quit. Dooley actually didn't make any glaring questionable decisions tonight that I saw. I only saw 3/4 total of the game though...

Never been ashamed until tonight. We are bad and we quit whenever we are down. Coaching is a laughing stock. We need a whole new staff including anyone that has anything to do with the football program. Managers, film guys, ball boys. We are losers and everyone must go. We must start fresh.
