Just wanted to let everyone know, if you haven't heard, that Jack Johnson will be playing the World's Fair Lawn Friday night before the UAB game. Should be a great show, and a great way to kick off our first football weekend of the fall.

Not just JJ, but JJ outdoors on the lawn -- best location around. I doubt it will compare to the Bonnaroo show in the rain, but it's sure to be good!

I'm sure you all know to bring a girl along. :lol:

If things don't work out your way after a date to a JJ concert, you need to turn in your balls.

Jack Johnson is awesome! i was on the fence about going up to UAB but now the deal is sealed!

i heard about this yesterday from a friend, and i think i will br there for this. I know i will be in town that evening, so, it should be a sure thing.

Singer/songwriter, chilled-out, acoustic-guitar-based musician. . . .hard to define, really. IMO, one of the best artists of this decade. Highly recommended from a self-proclaimed music "connoisseur."
