REV. JESSE JACKSON PREDICTS CHANGE IN U.S. FOREIGN POLICY WITH OBAMA - New York Post

The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.
Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.
"Obama is about change," Jackson told me in a wide-ranging conversation. "And the change that Obama promises is not limited to what we do in America itself. It is a change of the way America looks at the world and its place in it."

I have to wonder if Jessie is talking about "cut your balls off change".

I just don't understand how Jessie can be so aloof to the Jewish plight considering they are the most persecuted race of people in history. It would seem that the reverend would be sympathetic to their plight considering his penchant for pimping his own race under the guise of racial injustice for so long!

yep, just imagine what Hezbollah and Hamas could do with F-16's, Patriot Missile systems and laser guided bombs.

yes, this well help our stand in the world, we will turn against Israel as the United nations and the rest of theworld. I'm afraid God will turn against us.

Obama has NEVER said he would turn AGAINST Israel. And Jackson's comment doesn't suggest it either, it only says we won't prop Israel up on the pedestal as we have in the past. Obama will not give Jackson a stronger "voice" than he has now just because he is black.

Are you with Palin on her stance that our war in Iraq is God's will???

well you must not read or study the Bible. this war is God's will, just ww2 was, korea, civil war. it will also be Gods will if obama is elected.

as for israel, obama will shape our foreign policy that will go against Israel, he has plenty of hidden support in that area.

I haven't read all of the bible, but I don't believe all of the bible either. I think you are the one who is void of facts and live naively, if you in fact, believe every word in the bible.

re-read what she said. She said that it's not that God is on our side, but that we are on God's side. I believe she was quoting Lincoln.

While Obama has not actually said he would turn on Israel, his associations and insinuations would definately lead us to believe such.

I am absolutely afraid God will turn His back on us and not just for the Israel issue.

I absolutely DO believe that it is God's will for those of us with the ability to act should act to free a people for oppression, torture and death squads. I DO believe it is God's will for us as a nation to defend ourselves from those who would do us harm.

For this reason, we cannot have the same would view. You will never understand the things that enfluence us as a nation spiritually because you have not the point of reference needed.

These things can be corrected, all you need is Faith.
