Smith just got ejected from the Titans - Falcons game for punching Taylor Lewan.

Probably not good for his chances of making the roster..

I saw more effort and energy out of jaques smith jumping around with his sleeves rolled up when he was out and in a cast for his thumb, than I did on the football field, outside of a sack his freshman year and a pick 6 his sr year.

He threw a tantrum when he lost contain vs Buffalo (IIRC) while the run went for a long TD

Some of his own teammates don't like him. He has had some run ins with them during practices. Not good for an unfrafted guy looking for a spot.

His attitude since entering the NFL has been nothing short of baffling given the way he conducted himself at UT minus the bar fight. Perhaps he has no delusions with regard to his NFL prospects and as such is trying anything to stand out and stick. Despite the apparent counterintuitiveness of this premise, it is at least supported in part by one of his coaches who, when asked about Smith's mean steak, praised his passion for the game while minimizing the destructive qualities typically associated with a fiery personality.

Our D-line also had a new position coach all 4 years he was here, but it was still disappointing to see him and Miller never pan out like we thought they would. Just a combination of poor timing, poor coaching, poor effort, and playing on poor teams.

The Falcons Oline is soft as a baby's butt. He is trying to make the team by showing effort. He's not out there to make friends

Smith wont make the Falcons.

That also has nothing to do with getting ejected or having a bad attitude. He's just not an NFL caliber player.

Rumor has it Smith has already interviewed for gas pump jockey at a local Pilot gas station on Kingston Pike.
