Long thought to be a top Memphis priority, and virtual lock by Memphians, a new development has taken place. Markel Crawford committed...

Johnson said today that he and Crawford play the same position and that Memphis is not one of his favorites. Sounds like the committment of Crawford could've had a very negative impact on him.

He will be releasing a top 5 this week and if I had to guess it'll contain Miami, alabam & Texas. Memphis could be left out, and remains to be seen if Tennessee makes its way in.

Could definitely he a story worth watching.

Interesting to see if Tennessee makes a move. Obviously the kids looking for little competition at his spot...so if we are confident in Hubbs I'm guessing Zo doesn't pursue him too much.

Top five will most likely be Louisvlle, Memphis, Miami, Texas, Bama. Just a guess.

If JJ can say this with a straight face, he has a future in politics:

"He said the Hurricanes, Alabama, and Texas are the three schools showing the most interest at this juncture."

No Memphis --- as if the Tigers have dropped him. My first impression is his feelings are hurt, but he will come around. Of all the UM potentials, this kid has always wanted to stay home. Rivals indicates he took a visit to Louisville 6-01-12. With this talk, he's not improving his stock. It's not OK to take your ball and go home when faced with a little competition/adversity.

I see CCM taking a wait and see as the dust settles. UT needs a "reliable" Hubbs update.

^Which is why I say the next week could tell a lot about how the staff feels. The door is wide open on Tennessee for Johnson, if he is this sour he'd probably like the idea of playing for enemy UT. However, if the staff is confident on Hubbs, then they probably won't pursue Johnson.

Probably been asked a 1000 times but how many can we take in this class (2013) if Stokes stays.
