I must admit...it is hard waiting, but I feel it will be worth it. Went back this week and watched YouTube of Hurd, Dobbs, Ferguson...cheered me up!

I watched the youtube of Hurd yesterday, and was impressed with his raw talent.

Is he gonna be the tallest RB we've ever had. The kid looks like another Eddie George

He looks like a beast. I am surprised by his speed and can't wait until he gets some coaching behind him. He should live up to the hype.

I was thinking more like Herman Munster...I guess its cause we're so close to Halloween. Opposing defenses will fear Hurd like he is a Munster!! Gives me chills.. I'm scurred! Go Vols!

I love how the players go to each others games and show them support!...This class is going to be epic in many ways and I can't wait to see these guys in action!...Hurd is a beast!...He is going to be a tough one to bring down once he gets the ball.

Coach Gillespie's really exceeded my expectations with our backs this season. Neal, in particular, is having a banner year. If this keeps up, I think I can find it in me to forgive his, um, past transgressions.

U do realize that Neal was the #1 rusher in the SEC last season up until when he got hurt right?? So we can't act like its some new deal. He still needs to hit the holes like he owns it. Instead of dancing around saving himself for the league like Poole did his Sr year.

Okay, let's not get carried away here, if you know what I mean. If Neal was so great before, why did he consistently get owned by Marlin Lane (who, while a good back, is not anywhere near as physically talented as Neal) in YPC averages? I don't know that it's possible to "teach" field vision, but Neal is running far better this year with a new position coach in an offense that's built to feature him. What little success we had running the ball last year was owed almost entirely to defenses having to respect the passing game.

I didn't say he was great last year or this yr. Just said we shouldn't act like its some big deal the guy is able to run the ball this year just because of a new coach.

It's great to see those 2 guys together and supporting each other.

I just hope they keep talking to other top recruits and help us land some big talent on NSD!

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!
